Caldo de Pollo

Ingredients
- chicken legs or breasts (1 kg)
- water (6 cups)
- salt (1 tsp)
- black pepper (1 tsp)
- garlic powder (1 tsp)
- minced garlic (2 cloves)
- chicken bouillon (1 cube)
- carrots (2 units)
- cabbage (1 cup)
- potatoes (2 units)
- tortillas (2 units)
- rice (1 cup)
Instructions
- Bring water, chicken, and seasonings to a boil.
- Lower the heat to a steady simmer. Cook until the meat falls off the bone.
- Stir in chicken bouillon and vegetables.
- Simmer until veggies are tender.
- Add more seasoning to taste if needed.
- Serve hot with tortillas and rice.
