Baked Salmon in Foil

A delicious and easy recipe for baked salmon that keeps the fish moist and flavorful, wrapped in foil with a tasty olive oil mixture.

Ingredients

  • olive oil (0.5 cup)
  • garlic (5 cloves)
  • fresh lemon juice (2.5 tablespoons)
  • brown sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • dried thyme (1 teaspoon)

  • aluminum foil (0 )
  • salmon fillet (1 (3 pound))
  • fresh parsley (0.25 cup)
  • lemon (1 )

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Combine 1/2 cup olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, brown sugar, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place a large piece of aluminum foil on a baking sheet and brush with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Place the salmon, skin-side down, in the middle of the foil. Drizzle with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Fold up the edges of the foil over the salmon to create a packet, making sure to seal the edges.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 20 to 25 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
