Baked Beans
A hearty and delicious baked bean dish perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
- bacon (8 ounces)
- ground beef (1 pound)
- chopped onion (0.5 cup)
- butter beans (2 cans)
- baked beans with pork (2 cans)
- pinto beans (2 cans)
- barbecue sauce (1 cup)
- ketchup (1 cup)
- packed brown sugar (1 cup)
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels; crumble and set aside. Discard grease.
- Cook ground beef and onion in the same skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes; drain. Transfer mixture to a slow cooker.
- Add baked beans with pork, butter beans, pinto beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, and brown sugar to the slow cooker; stir to combine. Cover; cook on High for 4 hours. Top servings with bacon.
