Aussie Works Burger

A delicious and hearty burger topped with grilled ingredients and flavorful condiments.

Ingredients

  • ground beef (0.45 kilogram)
  • onion (1 )
  • eggs (4 )
  • Canadian bacon (4 slices)
  • pineapple rings (4 )
  • Cheddar cheese (4 slices)
  • sliced beets (1 (8.25 ounce) can)
  • tomato (4 slices)
  • lettuce leaves (4 )
  • Kaiser rolls (4 )
  • mayonnaise (30 grams)
  • dill pickle relish (30 grams)
  • ketchup (15 grams)
  • yellow mustard (15 grams)

Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Shape ground beef into four patties. Cook on the preheated grill until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook until soft. Transfer onion to a bowl. Crack eggs into the same skillet over medium heat. Cook until yolks are solid, flipping once. Transfer eggs to a plate; set aside. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crisp; transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain. Increase heat to high; cook pineapple rings in bacon drippings just until browned on each side.
  4. Set 1 kaiser roll bottom on a plate; top with 1 burger patty, 1 slice Cheddar cheese, 1 slice Canadian bacon, 1 egg, onion, sliced beets, 1 slice pineapple, 1 slice tomato, and 1 leaf lettuce. Spread the top roll with mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, and mustard; place over burger. Repeat with remaining rolls, burgers, and toppings.
