Apple Cheddar and Rosemary Beer Bread
A savory beer bread infused with apple, cheddar cheese, and fresh rosemary.
Ingredients
- cooking spray (1 pinch)
- self-rising flour (3 cups)
- white sugar (3 tablespoons)
- chopped fresh rosemary (2 teaspoons)
- beer (1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle)
- apple, diced (1 medium)
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (0.5 cup)
- unsalted butter, melted (1 tablespoon)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Sift flour, sugar, and rosemary together into a large mixing bowl. Stir in beer until combined. Stir in apple and Cheddar cheese until well combined; batter will be stiff and sticky. Scoop batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until top is golden brown, 55 to 60 minutes. Remove from oven; pour melted butter on top. Bake 3 to 5 minutes more.
