Apple and BBQ Sauce Baby Back Ribs

Delicious baby back ribs marinated in a sweet and tangy barbecue and applesauce mixture, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

  • barbecue sauce (4 cups)
  • applesauce (4 cups)
  • baby back pork ribs (4 pounds)
  • salt (0 )
  • ground black pepper (0 )
  • cayenne pepper (0 )
  • garlic powder (0 )

Instructions

  1. Combine barbecue sauce and applesauce in a bowl. Place ribs on a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil; rub salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder on all sides of the ribs. Pour sauce over ribs to coat; seal ribs in foil. Marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  3. Place ribs in foil on grill grate; cook for 1 hour. Remove ribs from foil; place directly on the grate. Continue cooking until ribs are done, about 30 minutes, basting frequently with sauce.
