Aloo Phujia
A delicious and spicy potato dish cooked with onion and various spices.
Ingredients
- vegetable oil (0.25 cup)
- onion (1 )
- salt (1 teaspoon)
- cayenne pepper (0.5 teaspoon)
- ground turmeric (0.5 teaspoon)
- ground cumin (0.25 teaspoon)
- potatoes (1 pound)
- tomatoes (2 )
Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add onion; cook until lightly browned. Stir in salt, cayenne pepper, turmeric and cumin.
- Add potatoes; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, cover pan, and cook until potatoes are soft, about 10 minutes more.
