Quick and easy rice cakes made with cooked rice and egg, perfect for a light meal or snack.
Ingredients
- cooked white rice (0.5 cup)
- egg (1 )
- chopped fresh basil (1 tablespoon)
- milk (1 teaspoon)
- salt (0 )
- ground black pepper (0 )
- butter (1.5 teaspoons)
Instructions
- Mix rice, egg, basil, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Scoop rice mixture into the skillet in two equal portions. Cook until browned on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Flip and continue to cook until browned on the other side, about 2 more minutes.
